Congratulations Andrew Peck!

Vancouver – July 4, 2007. Royal Pacific Realty congratulates co-owner Andrew Peck on his election as President of the BC Real Estate Association (BCREA).

The Association represents 12 real estate boards across the province and more than 17,000 licensed REALTORS® on all provincial issues and provides government relations, continuing education and communications.

"I have a number of key goals," said Peck, a licensed REALTOR® since 1983. "They range from higher standards for professional development for members to ensuring our communities continue to have the highest possible quality of life."

Royal Pacific Realty spokesperson, Sing Yeo, explains that Andrew Peck has been a co-owner of Royal Pacific Realty Group since 1995.

"He is recognized locally, provincially and nationally as a leader in the real estate profession and has distinguished himself by keenly promoting REALTOR® professionalism, professional development, and The National REALTOR® Code of Ethics," says Yeo.

Peck has also been a strong supporter of the Quality of Life philosophy and the Professional Development Program (PDP) for many years. While a director of the Real Estate Board, Andrew was a dedicated advocate of REALTORS® Care initiatives, including the new REALTORS® Care Foundation established by CREA.

Peck's special area of interest includes public policy development and lobbying, particularly for workable solutions to housing affordability issues in our communities.

Peck has been a director of BCREA since 2005. In 2004, he was president of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, the largest board in BC and the third largest in Canada. He has served on many committees and task forces.
