Vancouver (March 30, 2015) – The partners of Royal Pacific Realty Group announce that Andrew Peck, vice president and general manager, has been elected the 2015 vice-president of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
CREA is one of Canada’s largest single-industry trade associations representing more than 109,000 REALTORS®, working through 100 real estate Boards and Associations across Canada.
Andrew is a fourth-generation British Columbian and has spent his entire career as a REALTOR® in the Metro Vancouver area.
First licensed in 1983, Andrew became a managing broker in 1987. In 1996, Andrew merged several companies to form Royal Pacific Realty Group, BC’s largest independent real estate brokerage. Andrew is a broker-owner, vice-president and general manager, overseeing 1,147 licensed REALTORS® and a staff of 30.
Andrew has served on CREA’s board of directors for five years and is also serving as Director-at-Large. Since 2001, Andrew has been part of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, serving on task forces and committees, then as vice-president in 2003 and president in 2004, where he helped to establish the Board’s government relations function. In 2006, Andrew was elected vice president of the BC Real Estate Association, and in 2007, elected president.
Active in the community, Andrew is known for helping to lead Royal Pacific Realty Group’s philanthropic works, raising funds for hospitals, hospices and the homeless and improving the quality of life in the Metro Vancouver region.
